About Me

Hailing from the rolling foothills of Northern California, I grew up amongst the wildflowers and poppies that bloomed against a backdrop of the Sierra Nevada Crystal Range. 

This blog is born out of my love for photography - the art of capturing the every-day in an extraordinary way.  And to document and share my journey of Gratitude & Grace. 

At 28, I'm incredibly blessed  to live in Capitola, California, our backyard, the salty crashing waves of the Monterey Bay.  While my life appears a fairytale, most of which it has been, there have been extreme challenges and feats of overcoming immense grief in suddenly losing my mother at 16 and swift-moving, viscous addiction at 25. But at 2017, after surrendering to help and a Higher Power greater than myself, I found recovery through sobriety and reignited my faith in the Divine. 

Today, I get to live in daily surrender and serenity. That which I'm gifted, only through constantly striving to keep perspective with gratitude and finding grace through unwavering faith.
